Flares are 1/16" (about one gauge) larger with approximately 3/8" wearable area. No two plugs are exactly the same.
This item is actually made by putting copper in glass and then cooling it quickly. It's a synthetic man-made "stone," but still very beautiful!

Guage purchased was actually 11/16". These are great! I like the sparkles. Material is solid and my ears like them, too. Flare is not too big and they are wide enough for my fat lobes. These are awesome for the price.

These things are gorgeous. I have ordered them for every time Ive stretched. Plus theyre cheap. Cant beat the price or quality. The sparkle is soo gorgeous.

I loved these. I enjoy big flares with sharp edges -- they stay in my super stretchy ears better and I like the flat fronts as well. Sparkly, gorgeous and cheap: what more could you want?

Beautiful sparkle throughout surface of plugs.
Edges are pretty sharp and come to a pretty sharp point, which make the plugs not so comfortable to get in.
I would still recommend though.
