Which is better?
Internally threaded is top of the line body jewelry, but it is also more expensive. We recommend buying internally threaded jewelry. It's better for your piercing and is only made out of certified top quality materials. Professional externally threaded jewelry comes lathed down on the end which helps to reduce tearing when jewelry is inserted.

Barbell is 1-1/4" long.

The treble clef is 11/16" long, and it is a separate piece. It can slide on the bar to improve comfort, or it can be removed from the bar altogether.

I don't even have an industrial piercing, haha, but I couldn't resist when there was only two left... I'd been considering getting it done anyway. It's so pretty, I can't wait until I get the piercing done and can eventually wear it. I love that the treble clef comes off/rotates for comfort.

I bought this piece with doubts, I have tiny ears and was afraid it wouldn't fit. I can't wear surgical stainless steel, so I put the treble clef on my bioflex bar and it works fine. It's by far my favorite piece for my industrial, the fact that the treble clef is removable is just PERFECT. It is a little snug against the ridges of my ear, and seems like it'd be more comfortable if the clef it's self was thinner, but on people with larger ears I'm sure it'd be perfect.
