  • Product # 18365
  • Material(s): Pyrex Glass
  • Flares: Double flare
  • Worn In: Ear lobe
  • Sizes offered: 7/8", 1-3/8", 1-1/2", 1-5/8", 1-3/4", 1-7/8"
  • Brand:
Stunning sparkle and expert craftsmanship are what these glass dichro plugs are all about!

The below measurements are approximate:

  • 0g through 7/16" have a 1/4" wearable, with 7/16" overall length.
  • 1/2" through 1" have a 5/16" wearable, with 9/16" overall length.
  • 1-1/4" and 1-1/2" have a 9mm wearable, with 9/16" overall length.
  • All sizes have 2mm-3mm flares
  • These may present bubbles throughout the piece. This is an inevitable and unpredictable part of the production process, due to the fusing process of our raw materials. Although Gorilla Glass remove pieces with sharp pits on the wearable surface, some bubbles (sometimes on the flares or wearable surface) are to be expected .

THIS IS A LIMITED ITEM! Limited jewelry is usually re-stocked much less frequently and is harder for us to get from the manufacturer. So get it while you can, while it's available!
In our drop-down menus for adding to cart, we show the gauge of the item you are ordering, then the length/diameter, then the ball size if it has any:

Jewelry is measured through a gauge system (conversion chart below). The higher the gauge number the smaller the wire is. For reference, a standard "earring" is usually 20 gauge. Jewelry gauges can vary between manufacturers. There is no universal regulation on companies to make a standard size in body jewelry. This is because some jewelry is made outside of the USA and measured in millimeters. And in the USA jewelry is measured in inches.

Rings

Rings are an essential item that can be worn in many piercings. They come in various styles:
  • Captive bead rings - These use tension to hold a bead in place.
  • Clickers - These use a hinge to open and close the ring.
  • Segment rings - These have a "segment" that comes completely out of the jewelry similar to removing a bead. But it looks like a completely seamless piece of jewelry.
  • Seamless rings - These rings require bending to open & close.
How to measure rings
  • Gauge - This is the thickness of the ring itself.
  • Diameter/Length - Measure directly across the inside center of the ring.

Straight Barbells

Straight barbells are commonly worn in various ear projects, nipples, and tongue piercings.
How to measure straight barbells
  • Gauge - This is the thickness of the post/bar itself.
  • Length - Measure directly across the post between the ends.

Double Flare Plugs / Eyelets / Gauges

Commonly worn in earlobes, but can be worn in other stretched piercings.
How to measure double flare plugs
  • Gauge - Measure the size of the plug across the middle.
  • Wearable area - Measure straight across the side of the plug between where the flares start.
  • Flare size / rise - Measure the distance from the side of the plug to where the flare ends.

Single Flare Plugs / Eyelets / Gauges

Commonly worn in earlobes, but can be worn in other stretched piercings.
How to measure single flare plugs
  • Gauge - Measure the size of the plug across the middle.
  • Wearable area - Measure straight across the side of the plug between where one flare starts and where the o-ring starts.
  • Flare size / rise - Measure the distance from the side of the plug to where the flare ends. (see image of double flare plugs)

No Flare Plugs / Eyelets / Gauges

Commonly worn in earlobes, but can be worn in other stretched piercings.
How to measure no flare plugs
  • Gauge - Measure the size of the plug across the middle.
  • Wearable area - Measure straight across the side of the plug between the o-rings.

Teardrop Shaped Plugs

Worn in earlobes
How to measure teardrop shaped jewelry
  • Gauge - Add the height + width and then divide by 2. Then use the conversion chart to get the closest gauge.
  • Wearable area - Measure directly across the plug between where the flares begin.
  • Flare size / rise - Measure from between the flares to the edge of where the flares end.

Curved Barbells

Curved barbells are commonly worn in various ear projects & eyebrows.
How to measure curved barbells
  • Gauge - This is the thickness of the post/bar itself.
  • Length - Measure directly across the post between the ends.

Circular Barbells

Circular barbells are commonly worn in various ear projects, septums, nipples, and lips.
How to measure circular barbells

Verified purchase 5/8"  Lavender Gold (pair)
There was a defect in the dichro on one of the plugs I got. Really not the quality I expect for the price of these. Should have been put in the discount bin.
BAF comment: We have reached out to the customer to try and resolve the issue.

Verified purchase 1-1/8"  Rhubarb Plum (pair)
These are my second pair of rhubarb plum plugs, and these are quite different than my last. The foil is still a wonderfully bright Barbie pink, and they still go green when backlit, but it doesn't have the same bright silvery lilac flash that my last ones had, and the green isn't quite as vibrant. My last plugs were literally the most gorgeous plugs I had ever seen. These are not quite as jaw-dropping, but still very pretty. The flares are nicer on these ones though. I would give these 90/100. Still A+

Verified purchase 00g/9mm  Bright Green / Blue (pair)
Gorgeous plugs! I shouldn't have listened to everyone who complained about the flares being too large to fit in the 00g/10mm size though, as the 00g/9mm size I received have barely 2mm flares and I can wear 10mm DF gauges normally without a problem.

Verified purchase 0g  Smoke Turquoise (pair)
I bought these for my conch piercings (yes, you read that correctly) and they look absolutely great. In meh lighting they look a bit like lack luster opalite (nothing against opalite, it's one of my favorites) but with a nice ray of sunshine or a well lit building, their true color shines through brilliantly. A bit of a female dog to get in thanks to the gigantic flares GG likes to make, so no pics will be uploaded until my other ear feels ready.
