These are super cute, I want to wear them in my septum with a cbr but the balls ended up being too large for the captive I was using.

As others have said, the hole goes completely through the ball. Unfortunately, a 14g captive goes right through a 5mm ball and is impossible to use as-is like a captive. Works great as a bead. I snipped a piece of thick wire and shoved it in to give the ends of a captive something to lock into. Would recommend spending a little more and getting a cheap, gold-coated captive that comes with a ball over this.

Nice product for the price. Interesting to note the hole goes through the entire bead rather than simply indenting the spots where the ring sits.

Verified purchase   Yellow Gold - 4mm
Nice product with a good gold plating. 4mm was a good size, but the hole was a bit too big to go with a 16G captive ring as it slid through like a bead.
