Product Description:

Each captive includes an internally threaded captive bead. There is a gap between the captive bead and the other end of the ring to allow for the bead to be screwed on and off. The gap varies depending on the ring. The smaller sizes average 2mm and the larger sizes average up to 4mm.

These are chunky! and are a bit heavier than some weights I've owned so that is cool, especially because the price is more accessible for folks stretching on a budget. The ball is a little bigger than I'd like but if I wear them a certain way I can hide it and use as a backing to avoid them sliding out and they just look like really thick hoops.

Love these a lot. I have gotten them in three different gauges, started wearing them as weights after not wearing any jewelry in my lobes for at least a year (they originally were a 00g) and they pretty much stretched my ears back to a 2g in less than a month with absolutely zero discomfort or resistance from my lobes. I have now started wearing the 0g, they are rather weighty, but you get used to it over time. If they do start feeling a bit too heavy I'll just pull the threaded end closer to the lobe (if the ball is smaller than the stretch it will fall out if you do this), it'll take a bit of the weight off the hanging portion while also gradually letting your lobes get used to the weight.

These are really nice and so much easier than trying to get a captive ball with divots in! They look sharp and have some heft. I wear them with 20mm earskins and the gap is no danger. They do not fall out.
