These are my new favorite earrings, hands down! I got two as I intended to wear them in my lobes. I don't wear them as CBRs often, but rather run another pair of 12mm hoops through the eyes. More secure that way since I don't have a ring opener or closer. A few reviews stated the bird skull started to tarnish quickly, so I sprayed them down with a thin coat of varnish (bought to seal and protect oil paintings but said it was safe for metal). So far, so good.

Gorgeous piece. Probably my favorite CBRs I own! A lot of people have complained about getting the skulls to stay, but I haven't had much difficulty. Just make sure that the ring is properly seated in the divots, and you should be good to go. The ring is made of relatively soft metal, so if you feel it's getting too loose from popping the skull in and out, bend it back into shape as you please. Absolutely a must-have piece!
