This all-natural sterile solution accelerates the healing process while cleansing new piercings, useful for both dermal and oral piercings.

Blue Wave contains the highest quality pharmaceutical grade sodium chloride, the same as used in the medical industry. Saline solutions help to remove dried discharge and secretions when used on a daily basis.

Packed in a 2 oz. pump spray it is convenient to carry in pockets or purses. Because it is non aerosol, the formula poses no environmental threat.

A light spray of Blue Wave is recommend 2 to 3 times a day. You may use a fresh gauze sprayed with the solution to provide for more controlled application especially in hard to reach areas. Oral piercings may require more frequent applications.

Over-application of any saline or any solution may dry out the skin. Keeping bacteria and germs out of piercings is vital for healing, and Blue Wave may be used in conjunction with an antiseptic or anti-bactericide. However, dry skin caused by salt water rinses will rapidly absorb other treatments and may cause redness or skin irritation. An antiseptic treatment may follow a light spray, but if saline solution is over-applied it may be necessary to wait several hours to apply other treatments.

Ingredients: Deionized Water, USP Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid Anhydrous for Preservation, Sodium Chloride

In our drop-down menus for adding to cart, we show the gauge of the item you are ordering, then the length/diameter, then the ball size if it has any:

Jewelry is measured through a gauge system (conversion chart below). The higher the gauge number the smaller the wire is. For reference, a standard "earring" is usually 20 gauge. Jewelry gauges can vary between manufacturers. There is no universal regulation on companies to make a standard size in body jewelry. This is because some jewelry is made outside of the USA and measured in millimeters. And in the USA jewelry is measured in inches.

Rings

Rings are an essential item that can be worn in many piercings. They come in various styles:
  • Captive bead rings - These use tension to hold a bead in place.
  • Clickers - These use a hinge to open and close the ring.
  • Segment rings - These have a "segment" that comes completely out of the jewelry similar to removing a bead. But it looks like a completely seamless piece of jewelry.
  • Seamless rings - These rings require bending to open & close.
How to measure rings
  • Gauge - This is the thickness of the ring itself.
  • Diameter/Length - Measure directly across the inside center of the ring.

I really like this stuff. I was a H2Ocean user pretty much exclusively, but I love not having an aerosol bottle. This stuff is just as good if not better and works perfectly. It helps clean up piercings and keep bumps from forming.

So helpful in cleaning and healing my fresh piercings, plus just sanitizing my old piercings. I like that there's two different caps on the bottle. It makes me feel like it's extra sterile.

This isnt bad but i didn't realize that it's not sterilized - you might as well just mix your own sea salt spray if you're going to use this.
