When opening seam rings for insertion it is best to twist the two ends away from each other, rather than opening the ring as one would do with a standard captive bead ring. The second method will distort the shape of the ring.

I bought two of these, one for each nostril. They're so beautiful and surprisingly easy to open (but also easy to warp, so be gentle). They're made of silver, though. I'm only giving three stars because I ended up having a reaction to them (sore nose and red skin), which is really a shame because they look awesome. If you have a nickel allergy, use caution with these.

Ordered it for my friend wjo didnt look at the sizing and it was too big of a gauge. But its a beautiful piece! And shes super sad she has to wait to wear it.
