Most of these pieces have one side that's nice white pearl and the other side is darker, hardly any are solid white mother of pearl.

The lengths of the tusk vary slightly from batch to batch. 

  • 14g through 8g will be approximately 1-1/2" long.
  • 6g through 2g will measure approximately 2" long.
PLEASE NOTE: This item is crafted from organic material and the gauge can vary +/- up to 0.5mm

I've worn this off and on for events but never for more than a few hours at a time. I've since stretched to 10g and it still fits in there nicely. The surface is very smooth and comfortable but the pointed edges can hurt if your not careful about putting it in.

This tusk is really beautiful. The mother of pearl refracts light and glows beautifully depending on viewing angle. I got lucky and one side of mine is bright white and the other side is abalone so it has 2 really awesome display surfaces. Really stoked about that because you almost never find abalone tusks, only pinchers. BAF is on point as always, can't go wrong with this one.

A little odd to wear after only ever wearing a traditional septum ring but it's perfect. The color was solid yellow/white and the length makes it very subtle but still noticeable. I love it!
