31159 Material(s): Metal, 14K gold, Solid Yellow gold Worn In: Lobe, Eyebrow, Lip, -, Nostril, Septum, Nipple, Ear cartilage, Face, Ear lobe Sizes offered: 18g, 16g Brand:
These premium, versatile seamless rings from Invictus come in 14K solid gold. Rounded ends and a polished finish make this piece easy and comfortable to wear.
Ends have been rounded for smoother inserting. Each ring has been stamped with a 14k mark. To show it is genuine solid 14k gold. Stamp doesn't affect the wear. When opening seam rings for insertion it is best to twist the two ends away from each other, rather than opening the
ring as one would do with a standard captive bead ring. The second
method will distort the shape of the ring.
In our drop-down menus for adding to cart, we show the gauge of the item you are ordering, then the length/diameter, then the ball size if it has any:
14g - 3/4 inch (5mm balls)
6g - 1/2 inch (8mm balls)
Jewelry is measured through a gauge system (see chart below). The
higher the gauge number the smaller the wire is. A standard "earring" is usually 20 gauge. Jewelry gauges/sizes can vary between manufacturers. There is no universal regulation on companies to make a standard size in body jewelry. A big part of this is that some jewelry is made overseas and measured in millimeters. And in the USA jewelry is measured in inches/gauges. So many times jewelry can be anywhere from .5mm to 1mm different. CONVERSION CHART:

Measuring septum jewelry
Septum jewelry is measured by the diameter straight across the center of a ring. How far it sits below your nose will be dependant on where you're pierced. We've given an example below of a septum that's pierced a bit lower (see the side shot) and how it will look with different diameters. The general rule is, the smaller the diameter the tighter the fit.
5/16" (~8mm) diameter
3/8" (~10mm) diameter
1/2" (~12mm diameter)
