I have a very deep daith piercing so I wasn't sure if this would fit or not. It does, but barely, and was difficult to get in as I needed to scrunch my cartilage and skin to make room to get it to close. You can only really see it (despite it being pushed forward by the depth of my piercing and the shape of the clicker itself) if you are up close to my ear as the details are quite fine. I don't expect it to last long but while it does I intend to enjoy it as it isn't a very expensive piece. For me, the wings don't cause any discomfort or scratching but YMMV.
