Crafted from sterling silver and synthetic opal, these huggie earrings offer both style and comfort.

The below measurements are approximate:

  • The inner diameter measures 8mm
  • The earring's outer diameter measures 14mm
  • The silver post has a wearable area that measures 6mm
  • The hoop is 3mm wide
  • The synthetic opal is on only one side of the earring
  • The earring opens via a hinge in the center of the ring

The synthetic opal inlay is not bezel set, it is set using adhesive to help hold it in place.  Wet and other harsh conditions may have an adverse affect on this design.

These are larger than I intended to get (not a knock against the jewelry, because they give the specs very clearly; I just didn't pay them attention!) but they're still very pretty and give a subtle shine in the light because of the opal lining. I wish it came in different diameters, though, because my perfect size is probably half the diameter of this one!
