these are very cute and dainty! i've had them in my lobes for over a year now with no issues and the rose gold is still going strong! as mentioned in another review, the gems do have a bit of an irritating texture and i can feel it in my old lobe holes but nothing too major really! if you are more sensitive, i would follow the recommendation given in the listing to wear these with o-rings.
