Approx inside diameter is 3/8"

Pinchers are notched at the top wearable and this makes the gauge itself about .5mm smaller. The measurement on the gauge is taken from the widest wearable area at the top NOT including the divot.

Outside width on the 1/2" pincher runs about 1-1/16"

Just enough to poke out of my nose for my liking, makes my nose look super cute. I got clear and it's not noticable unless close up, so if you flip it in, it could probably be used as a retainer. Used o-rings to secure on sides of notches.

Super cute and on the dainty side! Remember that the notch is 0.5mm smaller! I use o-rings on the sides of the notch to keep it from falling out.

Now that I'm at 6ga I can finally wear this piece and ITS PERFECT! I realized 8ga was not enough oomph for my face so when I got this one I was in love! It's a more subdued statement than a 6ga clicker but it pokes out enough for me to see the size of my septum. The divot bothered me much more when I was freshly 6ga so now that it's settled it's a super comfortable piece. If I have a runny nose though this goes back into the box because it'll slip right out.

Question: Can you were these in a 2 gauge lobe Piercing?
Answer: Hi there! You could wear them in a lobe with your gauge size; however the divot may not be enough to hold them in place at that location (it's acts as a very minor "flare" that's only effective because the septum is generally not very elastic). You might want to still use o-rings if you don't want the piece to fall out. These will also be sold as singles, so if you need a pair you would just need to order two :)
