Gorgeous plugs now if I can just stop losing them...

These are beautiful and i wanted to love them, but i'm a little disappointed with the sizing. I realize stone tends to have a little more variance in the gauge, but these are almost a full millimeter smaller than they should be :( the length (1/4") is accurate, maybe just a smidge under, and unfortunately it's *almost* too short for my lobe, but that wouldn't be as big a deal if the gauge was correct (i like plugs to be almost flush with my ear). 8g is supposed to be 3mm, but these were so loose that at first i thought i ordered the wrong gauge or measured my piercing incorrectly since i'm in the process of re-stretching. So i got out my calipers, and these are just over 2mm, making them slightly larger than a 12g. Sadly, i won't be able to even wear them temporarily; i'm currently just under 7g (re-stretching to 6g)...so i had expected 8g to be a *little* loose but they were just going to be temporary while i prepped for the stretch. So, although the shine is gorgeous and i love that they are the magnetic hematite, they just won't work for me. :( If you have thick lobes, the 1/4" wearable may also be an issue, even with the flares. If you prefer plugs that sit very flush with the ear, and your lobes are on the thinner side, these may very well work for you! Just be aware the gauge may be off, at least at this size.

wearable is a little small, but other than that, i enjoy these plugs! there's a nice weight to them, and they're easy to insert.
