It's a nice, sparkly bar for a very good price. I'm always grateful when I can get an Industrial in 1 1/4 inch because 1 1/2 is way too big for me. I've been wearing this for a few weeks and haven't experienced any scratching or discomfort from the back of the gem like another review mentioned, so it might just depend on the shape of your ear.

This piece is so cute that it sucks to say after wearing it for over 2 weeks I had to take it out. The gem has a pointed back that is not covered, so it starts to dig in your ear. I have a red mark and some irritation. So sad!
