The below measurements are approximate:

  • The star stud measures 6.3mm in diameter
  • The moon earring measures 6.9mm tall by 4.9mm wide
  • The posts and settings are sterling silver, 14K yellow gold vermeil, or 18K rose gold vermeil
  • Each pair comes with one star and one moon stud, and matching butterfly backs

Vermeil is a plating finish that refers specifically to solid sterling silver that is plated with gold. The gold must be at least 10K, and have a plating thickness of  2.5 microns.

I really wanted star and moon earrings and bought these to pair with a chain linked pair on the other side. I've had trouble finding real silver as in my unstretched ears only real silver or stainless won't cause irritation and many are mislabeled. These are real, don't irritate, and are super dainty! The front shapes are fairly big so just measure beforehand. I lost the star almost immediately after buying so am thinking of repurchasing.

I love these. Been wanting a pair of mismatched star and moon earrings since I read Sabrina the Teenage Witch comics in the early aughts. Since I have two lobe piercings on one side, I like to wear both earrings in that ear. Cant wait to buy more space themed jewelry to deck out the rest of my ear piercings!
