This jewelry is really cute, but it will tarnish with time. I got one of the silver ones, and the coating came off to show a bronze-colored metal underneath. It hasn't caused any issues for me in terms of irritation/skin sensitivity, but I imagine that could be an issue for others. The tarnishing is also just not very nice to look at, after awhile.
