Introducing the Oval Cobalt-Chrome Clicker Ring, a sleek and versatile piece crafted from high-quality cobalt-chrome metal. Designed for various piercing types including Daith, Helix, Rook, and Septum, this not-so-basic clicker offers a stylish addition to your body jewelry collection.  These oblong clickers have a squared off front design, but the 14 gauge wearable area is still round.

Cobalt-chrome (CoCr) consists of chromium, cobalt and is, in this case, nickel free. It is a metal alloy that has outstanding strength and corrosion resistance. 

  • It is biocompatible, cobalt-chrome is often used for making dental and orthopedic implants, as well as finger rings.    
  • Slightly lighter than steel, which makes it well suited to wear in piercings where the weight of the jewelry is a concern.

Please Note:  The cobalt chromium used for these products is sourced from the EU from a company that supplies it for the dental industry.

I risked the weird oval shape for the sake of a black lip ring, and have been pleasantly surprised at how naturally and comfortably it sits. Incredibly easy to eat with, but notably difficult to rotate with my teeth, which is a pretty bad nervous habit I'd like to stop. The clicker mechanism is very sturdy, and I find this ring harder to open when I'm wearing it than others.

I ordered this oval ring in a couple of different colors, and they're quite comfortable in my side lip piercing. I worried a bit about the shape, but it sits very naturally. The clicker is a bit difficult to open and close, but I prefer security over ease of changing.
