3 stars because the sizing is correct, and it does what it's supposed to. however, this retainer does not have the smoothest surface, and is not very comfortable to insert/wear... it's bearable with a bit of vitamin e oil, though. i'd pass on this and invest a few more dollars in a glass retainer.

I love these. I buy multiple of these each time I place an order, they're a staple for my septum. They're clear, small, cheap, and absolutely comfortable. I definitely forget that I'm wearing one. They probably fall out on me every 3-4 months, usually in the shower or while I'm sleeping, but I usually make sure they're still in place after I blow my nose. Someone mentioned using O-rings to keep them in place which is a fabulous idea. Another reviewer said they are difficult to insert. I bought a $6 pair of hemostats on Amazon that make insertion ridiculously easy. Grab one end and tweak the retainer in place - voila! I hope BAF will always sell these.

I love this! Make sure to use o-rings: otherwise they fall out if I forget and rub my nose

it fits in well, however the vertical ends are very short. when I put it in, the ends don't hold it in very well, especially when blowing your nose.. would i buy again, probably not, but it works if your in a pinch and need to hide your septum
