Made from 410 Stainless Steel. Closes rings to help secure beads in captives.

Works best on rings up to 12g in thickness.  The small pliers work best for small diameters from 1/4" to 1/2", the large pliers work best for captives from 5/8" and up.

The pliers are great but their easier to use when your adjusting the ring before putting it in. I tried to use it to close my 10g septum ring while wearing it and it was surprisingly difficult enough that I had to get pliers from my toolbox.

I love these. For someone like me who changes their jewelry out frequently they're a must have. They make the process so much easier and prevent damage to the piercings. I only wish I had known about these sooner. :-)

I got these pliers to try to close some captive rings I got for my septum. The only complaint I have about them is even though I got the smaller size, it is definitely not big enough to close my 5/16" and smaller rings once they are in my septum. If you are planning on closing rings in hard to reach or small places, I would suggest something smaller.

They were harder to use for me than the opening pliers, but they work just fine nonetheless. And it doesn't seem to scratch your jewellery.

They close the ring uniformly and they're easy to use. However, I would much prefer them to have tension bars so they pop open when you're done, because I've accidentally dragged them across the ring trying to extricate them, and that worries me that they could scratch. There's also no Country of Origin stamp. That's kinda weird.
