The gauge measurements are printed on one side, and the millimeter conversions are shown on the other side.
Please note: These pieces are made out of acrylic and they will not be as hard as similar tools made from steel, and in some instances, it is possible to force a larger size into a smaller gauge opening. For example, it may be possible to push a 16g post into an 18g space using constant pressure. It should not take any pressure to slide the piece into the corresponding the slot when using this tool to measure your jewelry; if you have to force the plug or post into place, then it is not being measured correctly.
