I usually get the in between sizes when moving up and omg have the made transitioning to a bigger gauge easier. I bought 5g to try to get to 4 and they popped right in without any discomfort or pain. Great plug for stretching, imo the flare is way too big for a septum to be comfortable. However all that aside it's a good piece to have on hand if you need it.

I really liked the plug itself and want to give it one more star but really can't. After just a couple days the front flare part would get sucked into my hole if I even just laid for a brief moment on a pillow or leaned on slightly. It hurt & just wasn't good for the hole itself. Made it red and irritated and happened with all sizes I had. (10-6)
