From a 2g to a 1g, the face size doesn't actually change but the gauge in your ear ofc does. The whole plug was also solid red, as before most colors I've got ( I can't remember if it was this set of plugs or one of their or colors glass plugs) but usually they were clear with a face color. The color is very deep, and at times seems more opaque. But I do love them and will be ordering more!
