Product Description:

For this captive ring design, there is a pop in mechanism for the capitve bead which makes for easier handling. Two smaller tension balls within the captive bead secure the bead in the captive, but when enough pressure is used the tension balls descend into the captive bead allowing it to be removed.

I love these, I wear them in my ears all the time. I got used to the weight pretty fast and I personally don't feel like they are very heavyâ€”my ears tend to shrink when I wear them and I use plugs to bounce back up to my normal size. I get loads of compliments. I wish the ball was weighted more, not just for extra weight but because these move while they're in my ears and the balls always end up by my lobes which is annoying.

these are really beautiful for a basic but bold piece of jewelry, especially at larger gauges. note that they are quite heavy, but you get used to the weight after a while.

great piece, i wear a 2g in my septum, i almost never wear the ball with it because it's very heavy but i guess you get used to it. it hangs down on my top lip with the ball in it which can get annoying when you're eating or drinking but easy enough to remove!

Love these captives. I had an issue with a pair of 6g ones where one of the balls broke, but BAF refunded me immediately and their service was so good I felt comfortable taking a shot on another pair. So glad that I did! No issues with these ones so far. At these sizes they start to get heavy-- I definitely think of them more as weights, which was what I was looking for. Love!
