the ridges of this septum make the ring rotate in your nose, and if i wear it a long time the design will actually start to tear the inside of the hole a bit so it gets painful.

Perfect amount of detail! I really like the stacked look of 2 helix rings, but my last earrings always got caught in my hair. This clicker has beautiful detail that doesn't catch stray hairs. The color also matches my other gold jewelry. (I intend to replace the lower helix clicker, which does *not* match.)
